To become familiar with USCOM it takes about 20-30 supervised, but like other methods optimal use of USCOM depends on training and experience; the more you do the better you get!

To use the machine, what you have to do is simple.
Turn it on and log in. Enter in a few details of your patient; confirm their details and you are now ready to scan! All you have to do is apply gel to the face of the Transducer and position it on the patient. Once you have picked your signal and recorded a flow, you are now ready to review your exams; analyse your results and treat your patient! The basics of it are that simple!
