Associate Professor Rob Phillips

Rob Phillips is the inventor and founder of Uscom Limited and took the Company to public listing in 2003. Rob has more than 13yrs experience as Chairman and CEO of an ASX listed Medical Technology Company. Rob has successfully engineered the acquisition and integration of two international medical device companies in the last three years.

Associate Professor Rob Phillips has a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy from the School of Medicine at The University of Queensland, Australia. Rob conceived and developed the USCOM 1A device and is the author of over 30 patents in cardiovascular monitoring and ultrasound. Rob was a recipient of an Australian Post Graduate Award, and a finalist in the CNN, Google, Time, Science, NYSE World Technology Awards in Health and Medicine and is an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland.

 

Christian Bernecker

Mr Christian Bernecker has experience as a Corporate Executive and Non Executive Director with a background of capital management and investment across a range of companies including life sciences in listed and unlisted entities.

Christian is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

 

Brett Crowley

Mr Crowley is a practicing solicitor and a former Partner of Ernst & Young in Hong Kong and Australia, and of KPMG in Hong Kong, and has worked in China establishing and managing JV companies there. Mr Crowley is an experienced chairman, finance director and company secretary of ASX-listed companies, and is a former Senior Legal Member of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Mr Crowley has over 30 years’ experience in advising companies on taxation, corporate strategy, international structuring, capital raising and commercial negotiations.

 

Xianhui Meng

Mr Meng was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Uscom Ltd in December 2019. He is an experienced international value investor, with qualifications in economics, engineering management and business administration.

Mr Meng has 10 years experience as a China government departmental head, and 20 years experience as the Executive Manager and Executive Director of a HK Listed Chinese Pharma specialising in sales and distribution. Mr Meng brings both his international corporate management and strategic skills to the Uscom Board.
